"A coger y a mamar que el mundo se va a acabar" (to fucking and to sucking because the world is ending, or let's suck it up, the world is ending) is a piece that is an existential shelter. It's an escape, a protection, a talisman, a neglect, and a way of coping with helplessness. I feel immense helplessness in the face of this world that is crumbling, that shows no mercy, and that we are killing. I wanted it to be a blanket to reflect the neglect I sometimes feel, because in the end, there's only so much I can do. It's a refuge from eco-anxiety, the state of the world geopolitically, and ultimately, from death. This phrase is a Mexican saying, and I wanted to weave it as a form of shelter from existential anxiety in the face of a desperately uncertain world.
